Interview with Bill Catauro, President of Quality Food Company
Tell us a little about your business and your role.
We are a third generation food distribution company located in Providence. I am currently the owner and president of the company. My grandfather started the company in 1931 on Federal Hill here in Providence.
What inspired your organization to help with food relief efforts?
I decided to help because we were in the fortunate position that we could continue to operate given the extreme circumstances. We did have a few challenging weeks, but we still were able to recover quicker than most and help support our customers.
What type of support do you provide the Snapchef Foundation (be specific)?
We have been donating various proteins to Snapchef to help with their efforts to feed those in need in our community.
