We’ve been the driving force behind commercial kitchens, ensuring they are staffed with highly qualified and trained professionals. Yet, our story goes far beyond the kitchen walls. Our unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening our communities is at the heart of everything we do. This commitment to creating change and opportunity led to the creation of The Snapchef Foundation.

In 2015, our non-profit organization was born, marking a significant step in our journey. Since then, we’ve dedicated ourselves to providing comprehensive training, apprenticeship programs, and scholarship opportunities at renowned culinary institutions like Johnson and Wales. But our impact extends beyond the kitchen walls. We actively engage with our neighbors in countless community events, using our voice to champion opportunities for growth and prosperity.

We firmly believe in equipping individuals with culinary skills, practical experience, and professional development opportunities. Our program bridges the skills gap and opens doors to fulfilling careers. We are driven by a deep passion for empowering our participants and supporting their transition into the workforce. By doing so, we contribute to economic growth and the overall social well-being of our communities.

In 2020, the world faced an unprecedented crisis—the COVID-19 pandemic. As we adapted, we recognized a unique opportunity to make a difference. With a sudden decrease in staffing demands and an increasing need for food, we pivoted swiftly. Our training kitchens transformed into production kitchens, and in collaboration with local leaders, we provided over 3,000 meals per week to families in need.

In that moment, we saw the potential to simultaneously provide our comprehensive workforce training to individuals while also creating nourishing meals for those in need. We seized this opportunity to engage with our local community and generate positive change. Our unique multi-impact model was born.
